If you check out the Writers Online Workshop site (www.writersonlineworkshops.com) you'll see courses for various levels. Probably the best one for you would be the Advanced Novel Writing Workshop. You submit 10,000 words of your novel for each lesson, and get it critiqued by your instructor. That way you get lots of one-on-one help from your instructor, rather than structured lessons you have to follow through.

Best of luck with your writing!

Hmm. I love doing workshops, but half the time it feels like you're just reviewing basics. It isn't as bas as the writing books that tell you how to begin to write--and then happily abandon you about where most people can stumble to on their own--but it's not great either.

Do you ever do writing workshops for intermediate to advanced writers?

Hello, Emily! I enjoyed reading your blog! Fascinating stuff! I love it when authors incorporate real events into their books! That's why I know Vexing the Viscount is going to be such a great book!

Dear Emily,

wow, so that one alias was *not* enough for Daisy? That's a thick plot, I'll love seeing it unravel :).
I'm amazed that Isaac Newton lost 20.000 pounds to the South Sea Bubble - that must have been the equivalent of millions, right? And I didn't even know he was that rich; not something I think of for modern scientists, but in those days, I guess you had to have serious money before you could afford to be a scientist... Interesting!
And, @ the last post: so great that you won't need chemo!

Hi Emily! Very interesting info on your blog about the South Sea Stock Swindle. The "Enron of England!" Isn't it amazing how history repeats itself over and over? Just change the time, place, and people involved. Thanks for enlightening me on a topic I knew nothing about!
